I'm an easy going, red-headed Scotsman from the highlands. Most of my time these days is spent either on my laptop writing scripts for R, or out and about on my bike around Edinburgh.

I'm a psychologist, so it's fair to say I've always been interested in people, and for me specifically that interest stems from working with people with disabilities. My work is about using technology to create a more inclusive society, a topic I find both promising and challenging.

I enjoy meeting new people, and view couchsurfing as an ideal opportunity to learn and see more of the world. Admittedly, I have been quite insular in the last decade while I finished my education. Now I'm free of the clutches of my PhD I'm raring to get out and see the world.

I really enjoy teaching. I can share knowledge about anything I know of I suppose, psychology, the world of research, dispel myths about Scotland and Scottish people, programming (if interested), history, politics...I'll do my best to share my experiences and knowledge if asked.
