ABOUT ME

Dutch guy, living in Oslo. I've lived in Canterbury in the UK and in Brussels, Belgium before and I've done quite a bit of travelling within Europe and Russia. I have a degree in education and philosophy and right now I work as a teacher in a special needs school. I guess I can be quite lazy, but that also makes me easy-going. I draw/paint, write (poetry/stories) and play music (guitar/bass/singing). I'm very open-minded and am not easily shocked. I like to live life to the fullest and make the best of every single moment I've got.

A five week long road trip through northern Norway.

I walked The Philosopher's Walk to the Sea (also known as the Nietzsche path) barefooted in Èze, France.

I swam in the Barents Sea.

I took the train from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok.
I wrote on Joseph Brodsky's typewriter at the Anna Akhmatova Museum in St. Petersburg.
