Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the great things about couchsurfing is it's an excellent way to meet locals, and see how they live differently to me! It is the people who make a place interesting, and I am a very chatty person by nature! So if you have plenty to tell, I'm all ears!

Interests

I am very much an outdoorsy person! I spend as much time outside as I can. I also like the weird and wonderful aspects of a place, particularly unusual cuisines and I am of course interested in all things engineering/history given my career background.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the Shetland Islands for 8 months during lockdown! Incredibly lucky to have found myself "trapped" in such a beautiful and remote corner of the world!
