About Me

Hey there! I am an energetic, open minded human who enjoys meeting people and consuming moderate to large amounts of alcohol with them. I like to hike, bicycle, go on pleasant country drives, or hit up the big city to go see something weird and I recently became the proud owner of a 3 person canoe so that's something.

I seek humor in things to the extent that it may put myself in danger, but if there is a chance that I or someone else can experience joy it's worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to find friendly places to visit and connect with people who I can someday host when I don't live with my parents.

Interests

I am down for whatever, but I can definitely take you for a hike or drive around in some neato spots. If you play any instruments I have a geetar and a mandolin so we can jam and I make good coffee, but I have cream if you need it.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Courage to Be - Paul Tillich
The Golden Compass,
Most things by Bishop John Shelby Spong

Music by the artist(s) Oketo, AJJ, The Front Bottoms, but I digress

Movies such as Electrick Children, Mr. Nobody, Inception, Wings of Desire, and I tore up Game of Thrones recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked for a month in Europe with a lovely lady.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some chords to play and trails to walk or how to make a latte

I would love to learn some new phrases, particularly in Spanish so I can talk to my grandma and her sister, but I would also be down for Dutch, German, French, or an American regional dialect.

Do you like pancakes?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pancakes.

Also, I am always happy to bring reading material, pitch in for (or make!) dinner or anything that is needed.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
