Why I’m (also) couchsurfing in Berlin:
I just started my nomadic and travellers journey which means that I put the money that would normally go for the rent in travelling and workshops. It’s really like another stage of my life where I finally fulfill myself dreams.
I was actually not travelling for about 15 years cause I always thought that I would either not have the money or the time cause I’m working. Thankfully I got rid of this limiting belief so I just came back from Iceland and already booked a flight to Portugal where I’m gonna be volunteer-working in the nature for some weeks.
I basically want to keep that traveller’s spirit alive wherever I am, just doesn’t feel right to settle down somewhere…
Of course I have some friends to crush in Berlin but I feel like it’s the bigger challenge and also much more fun to do couchsurfing.
Meeting new people, sharing stories, go dumpster diving and cook together. Supporting each other in whatever way is needed or given in the moment.
That sounds like a life worth living to me!!
And there’s also nothing to say against a good party… ;)
Well that’s basically it – maybe I add the information that I am registered in Berlin, get money from the welfare-system and working besides as a freelance cleaner.
So that’s why I will always come back to Berlin – and my good friends of course… ;)
But you can also find me in the south and the north of Germany pretty often! :D
