Hi!

I'm a Canadian dancer who grew up in New Zealand, looking to travel and meet new people in new places

I'm a great guest! (Who would say they weren't?) I'm clean, respectful, courteous. I'm open minded and love to have a good conversation.

I have a couch in Be'er Sheva, Israel, I could maybe squeeze 2 people onto it. It's a great city to spend the night if you're on your way to the Dead Sea or farther south. I have 2 roommates, one French and one Israeli, and they're super awesome. Both are dancers also.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new here, but I really like the idea of having a way to meet interesting people while travelling, and potentially forming strong bonds with people from very different backgrounds and sharing cultures

Interests

I like dancing, specifically ballet and contemporary dance (it's what I do for a living). I also love music, all kinds, but my knowledge is lacking a bit on the newer stuff. I enjoy most things to do with art really. I love to go hiking, camping and adventuring outdoors. I guess generally having a good time.

I used to read a lot of books, mostly fantasy.

I try to keep an open mind about music. As a dancer and aspiring choreographer, I will give any music a try. My playlist usually ranges from baroque to heavy metal, to pop, to rock and roll, to jazz, to blues, to weird experimental electronica, to opera, and everything in between. I love to sing! If you are willing to sing with me I would be over the moon. I also play flute, but I don't usually travel with it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I danced in the Opening Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games

Spent 4 days hiking through Fiordland in southwestern New Zealand. Amazing landscape, great people.
