I'm spending the next 2 months exploring the Western US, mainly for photography.

Hopefully through Couchsurfing I can meet some great people along my journey and make new friends. I'm sure people on here will also know the best local places to visit.

In 2013 I completed a 50 mile backpacking trip through the Allegheny National Forest completely barefoot. We started at 6pm Friday and we finished up by 3pm on Sunday. I was amazed how well my feet held up ( I had been barefoot for 1 year prior to this hike). When I reached the end, everyone else was taking their boots off looking at their gross, wet, blistered feet. My feet were a bit muddy, had a flower stuck between my toes but they looked great and were injury free!
