About Me

Hey!

After a year in Rome, I'm back in Norway to finish my master in artificial intelligence! There I met my beautiful girlfriend, who is Spanish and lives in Spain for now.

I'm social, curious and love meeting new people! I have been told I have a big heart and see the good in almost everything. I have discovered, that with couchsurfing, you can actually travel with the price of being in Norway (almost). I really like going out traveling, without being confident that I'm okay financially, or knowing what to do. Probably not the smartest thing to do, but it is exciting! I used to longboard a lot. I still love it, but rarely do it anymore because of shoulder surgery, and that my boards are all in Oslo.. Lazy me.

I have gotten into cooking lately, and go out on quests to master certain things. First thing was to cook the juiciest chicken of them all. The latest was to proparly make croissants :-D I love making drinks, but are often held back by the expensive prices here in Norway on alcohol, so I keep it simple, and one can always make funky homemade syrups!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to find the more local feeling in the places i visit, and get to know those who live there. What better way is it than to live with them?! It so interesting meeting people from different cultures with completely different views than the common person here in Norway has. It also makes it so that you can never really expect how your trip will be. Sightseeing is sightseeing in some way or another. Couchsurfing can turn out in so many ways!

I also see great value in hosting people, meeting people from all over the world when I'm home in Norway. It's also a great way of learning new things. I'm currently not hosting because of moving to a new city, so I don't have my own place yet. I'll update as soon as I can :-D

Music, Movies, and Books

In music, I love psy-trance, especially goa. I also love techno and deep house. The kind of stuff that takes you to another universe if you are able to just get yourself into a certain mindset. My favorite movie seems to always be one of the last movies I have seen, haha :D For now, it is Princess Mononoke! I am binging on Studio Ghibli, especially Hayayo Miyazaki right now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in the desert and longboarding down a crater the next day when the sun rose :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Norwegian if you want to:) I can also can teach you to longboard if you have the guts and are willing to leave with some bruises :P I love making food, so I can for example teach you to make sushi. Except from that, I tend to improvise in the kitchen, but I'm happy to share what I know. If you know some dishes i would also really love to learn. The weirder the better :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

An open mind, energy, friendliness, cooking, good conversations, I can try to teach you how to juggle, I can make you a drink (or teach you the basics of drinks)(I am absolutely now expert, I worked in a whiskey and beer bar). I can share my thoughts, and you can share yours!
