Married with Annette, and both of us are engaged in developmental work. We lived in Africa for 10 years, in India 7 years and travel quite extensively. Annette still works for HELVETAS in CH and I take care of our house/garden and animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Making beds available for travelers: Normally a on our ground-floor a bedroom with a double bed is available - with bathroom and toilet. As houseman/consultant I normally work at home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience with the current CS - but we hosted many people in our stay abroad everywhere - and still do regularly. Only once a little disappointed - but no problems in general - in fact the contrary: we always enjoyed it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling over 5400 m in Ladakh India, organizing HIV drugs for my Rwandan friend in jale in Gisenyi since 1996, running 7 marathons.
