CURRENT MISSION

I decided to come and live in Turkey in August 2013 even though I knew no one in Turkey and spoke no Turkish! I want to make the most of my stay here by travelling as widely as possible in Turkey. Hopefully, I'll make some deep friendships along the way.

I am an amateur photographer who also enjoys reading, listening to classic jazz, congolese, classical & salsa music, sharing interesting content on Facebook, working out in the gym, cooking, watching documentaries and, of course, travelling. I also enjoy meeting new people and having stimulating conversations about anything and everything! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my safe and permanent university job in England to teach English in Istanbul on a 2 year contract even though I'd never been to Turkey before, didn't know anyone in Turkey and don't speak the language!
