About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life and meet others who wish to do the same!

ABOUT ME

I am friendly, I love the outdoors, I love WARM places, I love the water, be it at the beach or a nice pool. I prefer artsy venues and I love creative people. I'm all about exposing myself to new cultures, cuisines, places, and people.

PHILOSOPHY

Be true to yourself, respect others, and enjoy your life!

I am very much a free-spirit, open-minded, artsy, a feminist (love the works of Simone de Beavoir), intellectual, and I don't want to just work myself to death, spending my life at work, and living every day as a countdown to retirement only to die a year later. No! Carpe diem!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just got on here five minutes ago - you gotta give me some time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

ZILCH!!!

I have some neighbors who I hang out with at the neighborhood grill and pool. They told me about it.

Interests

I love the outdoors, particularly the beach. I try to spend as much time outside as possible. I love to be in the sun, to watch the sunset, to be around green trees, and to swim in the ocean.

I love trying new food especially with a few drinks, and at a place where you can sit outside and hear live music.

I LOVE concerts, usually with guitars and drums. I like rock, and punk, but also can get into other stuff.

I am an aspiring writer/filmmaker, so I enjoy the creative arts as well as meeting new creative people be they writers, artists, musicians, poets, actors, philosophers, etc. I am having a manuscript formatted right now which will be my first self-published novel. I've made a few independent (amateur) films and would love to make more in the future.

I love wine-tasting festivals, too. There are plenty here in Virginia!

I have music on pretty much all day. I am a Pandora and Grooveshark junkie because I can't take the repetition of commercial radio. I rarely watch TV. But music, all day, every day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen some amazing places: the Vatican, Beijing, Moscow, and Australia for example, however, the most amazing experience is to meet people from other parts of the world and realize there are so many other ways to think and enjoy life.
