Overview
About Me
I'm living a quiet life in Minneapolis now, haven't been hitchhiking in a long time. But I do still travel occasionally and like to meet interesting people! I'm a very easygoing, laid-back personality whom few people have managed to dislike. I enjoy books, philosophy, naps, science, fixing broken things, art, and wild dance parties.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It started years ago when a teacher at my (extremely alternative) high school, on her way back from a field trip, decided to pick up a hitchhiker and bring him back to meet the rest of the kids. That hitchhiker turned out to be a substantial influence in my life and introduced me to many things, couch surfing among them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(Almost) crossed a mile-wide lake in a homemade boat built from cardboard. The boat sank a hundred yards short of its goal, but we swam ashore, survived, and its memory lives on in legend.
