ABOUT ME

I am typical open-minded Dutchy, at least so I guess. I like meeting new people, especially when they travel around the world. Having a drink or dinner together and hearing about ones experiences and perpespectives is always a pleasure.
Since February I am employed as the purchaser of a Dutch/Indian company and besides that I run a small company named Indotrainee. Indotrainee offers internships, graduation projects and accommodation in Jakarta for students and graduates from all over the world.

So during the office hours I am mostly working, but in the weekend I like to relax, have some drinks with friends and housemates, or go to a nice party, beach or city. Together with my housemates we bought a great pool table, that keeps us entertained for hours, so we certainly challenge you.
I love to travel and meet other travelers, I am glad to meet new people, to give other travellers an opportunity to save some costs and to advice them about the Netherlands.

I have one rule; if you stay more than one night, I like you to meet my kitchen and make me a typical meal from your country. No, don't worry, I'll help you doing the dishes :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I AM SURE THAT THERE ARE NO COUCHSURFERS IN THE NETHERLANDS WITH A BIGGER VILLA THAN MINE :) Well, to be honest it's not totally mine.. I live together with seven other youngsters in a ridiculous big villa. Actually it's for sale now, but it's that big and expensive that it is already vacant for more than two years. To prevent it from falling into decay, we are the lucky ones to live here now. It's a really nice place, maybe a little too nice. Almost every night we are eating together and it's always fun to hang out together. So there is always someone to drink a cup of coffee or a nice beer with. Since there are still many rooms empty you can sleep where ever you like.

We are delighted to accompany and meet people from all kinds of countries. In return, I hope to be able to crash at some couches when I am discovering new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So for only as a host to people from all continents. I lost count, but it sure was nice!
