Hello! I am a traveling graduate student studying social justice.

I have a background in education and outdoor leadership. I have lived and worked in Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Arizona, Massachusetts, and California, as well as abroad in Italy, India, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. I love reading, writing, cycling, hiking, movies, teaching and traveling.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One night while I was working at a summer camp in Colorado, I had to walk thru a dark thunder storm to get a camper's medicine for the next morning from the nurse. As I walked passed the pig pen, a family of three bears jumped out a few feet in front of me, looked at me, and ran away. I went the other way, into a large open field. Then, a large female goat starting stalking me, and before I knew what was happening, the goat was charging at me full speed. To my happy surprise, the goat was not attacking me, but trying to use me as a shield against the bears. For the next thirty minutes, I could not get the goat to leave my side. I was walking around in circles, in a thunderstorm, with a goat, with a family of bears probably watching the entire thing. True Story.
