About Me

I am a Latvia guy, who has moved to the USA to explore these lands and experience SanFracisco startup environment for 11 months. I have finished my MBA in Latvia and one day I decided to change my life and be more active, and explore the world and its culture. So I signed up for a USA internship program and so here I am in SanFrancisco with my two last internship months. I had always dreamed to see California, the Pacific coast, ride Haiway 1 and see other most beautiful CA places. As the last two months of my Internship program, I had been allowed to do my stuff remotely and I had decided to see more of California and travel with my motorcycle to explore what California has to offer.

I call my self also very open-hearted and spiritual being who wants to bring more kindness in this world. I am very active and outgoing and I love nature. I like to meet new people, hear their life stories as you can always learn a lot from others. Somehow I have found that it is super easy for me to talk with more mature people than younger :D, maybe because I have no more interest in parties, but rather to find the real-life meaning and purpose.

So, I can list some of my interests, but I like to explore a lot of different topics because I like to learn a lot ot new things what life brings me. So the list:

- Of course, the spirituality stuff, as I like to work with myself a lot (internal growth);
- Psychology (I like to understand why people behave as they behave);
- Yoga (learning Ashtanga yoga)
- Business administration (because of my MBA);
- Sports, but more doing them, then watching them (.ei. Basketball, Cycling, Floorball, Football, running);
- Book reading (topics like - self-development, self-help, psychology, health, healthy lifestyle, spiritual books, and other topics)
- Newest technologies( I like all new gadgets ;
- Social networking (maybe lying a bit, because I don't like meaningless conversations :D );

I am not the guy who likes to party all weekends, but I enjoy true end deep conversations with others. For now, I am working remotely in the start-up company from 9am-5pm, but after the work, I usually spend my time reading books, walking, riding my motorcycle out in nature, meditating and spending more time out in nature. I don't use any alcohol and I am also a vegetarian more than one 1 already.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting other open and active people from all around the world. I like to see how other people are living and see if there are ways how I can help them in any way. I start to enjoy doing gardening, maybe because I like nature, but I have always fixed a lot of things around my house, so I can help in there. :D
