CURRENT MISSION

Will begin my second inter-rail adventure on 23rd August with my brilliant girlfriend Lauren (as seen in profile picture). Didn't couch-surf first time around and hope to change that. Planning to really get to know people when travelling and build up a solid network all over! Looking to really get out of our comfort zone and see what is out there!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm 20 years old, currently half-way through an accounting degree (We're not as boring as people would lead you to believe!). Main aim in life is to travel and get to know this great big rock we live on and the people on it!

Always up for a laugh and enjoy talking about everything under the sun! Have my own radio show on QUB radio on Friday nights at 9. I've done some great stuff on there, even got to interview Keith Duffy from Boyzone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hostels are great, yes! But when I always that I'm just scratching the surface of a city. Through couchsurfing i hope to get a better idea of what really goes on, where to head to and where to avoid. Love getting to understand a nations sense of humor and want to see what the craic is with locals!

Most importantly, I want to get out there and meet some lifelong friends. People that i can happily host in the future and vice versa. Here to establish connections and have a laugh at the end of the day!

Interests

Mad into my football, avid Manchester United fan, really hope Jose and Ibra can put in the work for us this season! Have played football my whole life and it's a real passion of mine, i love it's ability to bring people together.

Love my music, listen to everything under the sun. Big into my house and techno currently with it taking off in Belfast at the moment. Big acts such as Bicep coming from the city. I surprise people in that I can happily party to that and then come home and stick on anything from Kendrick Lamar to Iron Maiden to Frank Sinatra. My Spotify is a goldmine and i'm always working on it.

I confess to being a nerd. Always taken back when looking at the stars. Huge fan of Neill DeGrasse Tyson and his Cosmos series. Can waffle on about space for hours! Naturally, I'm a massive Star Wars fan, not so much a trekkie in all honesty!

Favourite subject at school was history, another reason why i love travelling in Europe. Enjoy visiting historical sites and hearing local folklore.

Big into health and fitness lately. Enjoy heading to the gym and going for run.
Looking forward to seeing different places in Europe this way!

- Me and my girlfriend can teach you how to cook a few irish dishes such as an irish stew or our famous Ulster Fry!

- We're both well travelled, and can share a host of experiences with whomever we couchsurf with

- Looking to pick up some local recipes and dishes when away

- Can teach you a small bit of the irish language and tell you more about or culture and vice versa

- Can show you some irish sports such as Gaelic football
