I'm totally obsessed with David Rakoff's books. I think he's the best writer of our generation. I also like the work of Malcolm Gladwell, Michael Lewis, Po Bronson and the Freakanomics books. I read a ton and don't have a TV (though I've been digging the first seasons of Mad Men on my laptop)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once liberated a beautiful picture of a Utah rock formation from a McDonalds. It looked so pathetic surrounded by plastic furniture and people wolfing down cheeseburgers. It needed a better home.
