ABOUT ME

We recently moved to Whanganui and are having a great time getting to know the town, people and surroundings. It's an awesome place!. Looking to continue to meet more people in town and host anyone coming through. We've lived and traveled all over and are loving living in New Zealand. Love to bike in all weather, as well as camping, hiking and anything outdoors. Just starting to surf and fish! Enjoy gardening in the summer, catching live music anywhere and interacting with different cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Signed up a few years ago but have just started really participating. Looking to get to know other hosts and surfers in Whanganui, host anyone coming through and surf around the North Island.

Interests

We love music, Val plays mandolin and fiddle, Peter plays saxophone and is learning penny whistle. We like cooking together and learning new things.

Staying for a few days at the Sikh Golden Temple in Amritsar, conversing, eating and thinking!
