About Me
"A stranger is just a friend I haven't met yet." - Will Rogers
"We always regret the things we don’t do far more than the things we do."
I guess something that could describe my character is that I am constantly on the road. I love traveling, slow traveling. I love discovering and spending time in new places. I lived two years in Indonesia, two years in Cambodia (worked as a UN Volunteer), and I am currently living in Qatar, working for UNESCO.
I am a very active person, into outdoor sports, hiking, running, mountainbiking, kitesufing, longboarding.
I am super open-minded, fun, and extremely flexible. I am the most ungerman German.
For me traveling and living in different places is the best way to discover and to meet people from all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined the CS community in Jakarta (Indonesia) back in 2011. The community in Jakarta was absolutely amazing. Super welcoming and active. I participated in many activities, made a lot of friends and enjoyed to host and surf.
I have hosted and stayed with Couchsurfers in Pakistan, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Morocco and Europe
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been surfing and hosting quite a bit! I almost always had a wonderful time with my host and his/her family, which has created amazing memories on both ends.

Be it in Pakistan in March 2017 when I dressed up like a local Pakistani and explored the country undercover.
Be it in Indonesia last summer when I decided to hike up a volcano all by myself at night and met the most amazing Indonesians along the way.
Be it in Indonesia a few years ago when I was cast as an actor for an Indonesian TV show.
Lots of memories and amazing stories from many many travels and times lived abroad.
