Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I've mostly listened to classic and alternative rock for most my life but love listening to all other types of music like Jazz, Soul, R&B, Salsa/Latin, EDM, Rap and whatever else you can think of. I am currently listening to a lot of Jazz and getting into Brazilian music quite a bit.
My favorite books I´ve read this year are:
The Stranger and The Plague, both by Albert Camus
On The Road, Jack Kerouac
The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Woa, Junot Díaz
I'm currently reading Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics (very slowly) and struggling through books in Spanish.
I also really enjoy self-help books, like How to Win Friends and Influence People and Think and Grow Rich
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I've been a swimmer for most of my life, but when I was 17 I started to get tired of it and decided to start diving. The plan was to join a club team and practice hard to learn. When I joined the team they let me show them what I was capable of and basically found that I had the abilities of an 9 year old...so I joined the 9 year old age group and starting practicing with them alongside my laughing, teen-aged peers. But the social pressure motivated me and within about 4 months I had learned enough to begin competing with my age-group. I ended up qualifying into a state competition and got eight within a year of starting. It is to this day one of the most humbling and embarrassing things I've had to do, but was very much worth it.

Well I speak English pretty well for one thing. I speak Spanish quite well too as I live with Spaniards. If you really want to nerd it up we can talk about Biology or Chemistry. Maybe a dessert of Physics?
I can also teach some meditation as I´ve been practicing pretty consistently for about 2+ years now. I mainly practice mindfulness of breathing, but also practice Vipassana and some forms of visualization that have been tremendously helpful in shaping an insightful and positive outlook on life.

Good conversation, a fun time, and an open mind that genuinely wants to listen to you, talk with you, and get to know you...not just use your couch for a place to sleep and leave you feeling dirty when I never call you back ;)
