One time I met two climbers, both named Matt. The first Matt told me that when he got done a climb he felt a little disappointed that he had run out of rock face to climb. I talked to the other Matt about this once before he went into the shower. He came out and said that he actually felt great when he finished a climb. It felt like he had really accomplished something important.

I don't climb, but I aspire to the heights of the first Matt.
