About Me

CURRENT MISSION

welcome to my updated profile! (spelling errors and crass remarks have been removed)

ABOUT ME

I like to consider myself a cheerful, good natured sort, always up for meeting new people and talking the night away (or morning) about whichever topics take your fancy. I don't take myself to seriously so if you like a jolly good laugh I'm sure we will get on fine. I am very into drums, motorbikes, snowboarding and snorkelling so if any of those things are your cup of tea we'll also get on fine. Also if a cup of tea is your cup of tea we will be ok.

Those people who would most likely not enjoy my company are described hereafter:

Those of you who have developed a penchant for watching snobbish films or reading snobbish books (which in itself is no crime) and then proceed to masquerade around under the pretence that you are one of the great thinkers of our time. Similarly, if you think that solely by reading Kafka, Kerouac or Ginsberg you somehow gain a few notches in your intellectual belt, you should think again. Also, if you derive some sort of pleasure from referring to Bob Dylan as 'Robert Zimmerman', in a effort to confound those around you who are predictably unaware of such trivial pop culture McKnowledge, you and I would probably not get on so well. Having said that, there's nothing I like more than a conversation with someone who's well read and aware, just don't be a git about it.

PHILOSOPHY

cut your fingernails regularly, dont swear at children, don't undress at the bus stop, don't poo in the subway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

quite selfishly actually, i spent last year cruising around europe, whimsically surfing the couches of whichever hosts were willing to accept me. At the moment im living at home still with my parents who are the fun police and not at all conducive to good times, ill be moving out quite shortly though so there will be couches a'plenty for everyone

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed the living daylights out of a few couches in the UK, spain and switzerland, met heaps of other cs'ers on my travels too

Interests

drumming and anything musical, dawdling around in a park\forest\field\river\mountain, snorkelling and all manner of ocean-centered activities, putting around on my motorbike (which is not sporty or cool unfortunately but I love it all the same). I don't have a sense of humour. At all. God help you if you try to make jokes around me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Always willing to teach some drums, or some rudimentary motorbike maintenance.

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Philippines, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
