About Me

CURRENT MISSION

living as much as i can before the 'serious' time begins

ABOUT ME

i've been getting around moderately, i guess. now things get a bit 'structured' in my live and i try to take my space in between, to meet new people and to do all the things i don't wanna miss as long as they are still interesting to me.

When traveling, i prefer asking friends to stay with, since time with them is rare anyway. when i don't know anyone in a place, i enjoy meeting new mates and getting a totally different point of view towards that place. i guess i like contradictions, which are no contradictions on second sight anymore.

PHILOSOPHY

whatever happens, there is something worthy in it. at least retrospectively

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

now: offering a couch when i'm at home, which isn't too frequent, yet. asking nice people to offer me a couch, when they're at home, which i'd like to increase for now.

after this summer: enjoying the 'new structure' and offering my couch

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i surfed couches only a couple of times, but those were really great experiences. thanks again for the nice time and your hospitality.

what i liked even more than the opportunity to stay somewhere was the point of view my hosts had towards their place and what belongs to it. government, life, religion, music, no government... thanks for the diversity:)

Interests

in general i like to move, preferably outside!
all kinds of board sports as far as i did. playing guitar and singing along, learning languages.. i try out things that come along the way and hope it is fun.

i do capoeira, the best thing that could happen to me: people in a circle, playing instruments, singing, two ones in the middle joking around with each other. what does an evening need more?

Music, Movies, and Books

electronic, singer/songwriter, often i visit 8tracks.com, enter my feelings and am fascinated how good the music fits

the only books i definitely don't like are the ones with a stupid cover, stupid author's name and a stupid story.
my last favorite books were deutschlandreise by roger willemsen the great gatsby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skydiving, spending chistmas surfing in mexico, hiking alone in france, flying a little airplane by myself

Teach, Learn, Share

whatever you wanna teach, i'm open to learn it. especially language pieces, movements and little tricks like making a knot in a rope disappear!
despite latin, who needs latin?

i love to cook. am not good at it, but to learn personal recipes especially on journeys is awesome.

ask me for a few chords on the guitar, how to tip your nose with your tongue or how to do this bridge move.

doing sports together is always fun. seeing a city with a longboard or a bike, surfing or a good take-away store, those are things i like to share!
