ABOUT ME

I am the middle child of seven and alternated between living in New Zealand and England for a decade. I am positive, open-minded and understanding. I can be shy but I listen and once I'm comfortable I can become overexcited. I am easy going in many respects, but notice things pedantically (like apostrophe usage!). I don't like having such a negative and permanent impact on the environment. I love movies, especially realistic and interesting ones, and I love music, especially that with real emotion.

PHILOSOPHY

I've had a wonderful life and would rather die taking enjoyable risks than live on the sidelines.
I believe people should be free to do what they enjoy and not forced to live according the norms of their or other societies.
I choose happiness.
I am privileged and I ought to pay that back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent a fair amount of time on the couches of friends and family while split between my two home countries. Staying with friends has allowed me to see life in a number of towns in U.S. and England. I've hosted a few people so far and it's been a great experience.

I'm trying to learn Japanese and to unicycle, any help will be welcome.
I don't have many special skills but can follow pretty quickly if you have a task for me. I can help with English, maths and computers, fold paper cranes, mind children, whistle, limbo, drive, fit in small spaces, climb, fix things, break things, listen and hug.
