About Me

I am optimistic, energetic, ambitious, curious and highly driven. I love to meet new people and learn new things.

Currently I am bound to a small city called Zwolle, in the Netherlands. But my story doesn’t start nor ends there.

I lived abroad in Asia and the UK and travelled to many parts of the EU, Asia and Latin America. Santiago de compostela is on my roadmap, as are Scandinavian countries.

As a former student of International Communication I'm interested in the cultural differences. What motivates people from different backgrounds to do like they do…and how can we bridge our differences to be on the same wavelength?

I met awesome people on Couchsurfing and throughout my journeys.

Favourite quotes:
- When the student is ready, the master appears.
- One does what one is; one becomes what one does.
- What you discover in a democracy is that it is difficult to build a house when each nail has an opinion.
- Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter.

- I worked for a foundation that stimulates consumption/participation of cultural events by the workforce. In a nutshell, I love cultural events, from theatre to live music and street art.
