About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn about myself, people and the world around us by reverse osmosis absorbtion. Yeah, I'm going to soak it up!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a little town near Tulsa Oklahoma, but I certainly know the world is a fascinating place. While going to college in Oklahoma, I also went to study-abroad in Osaka, Japan at Kansai Gaidai (click here) for 1 semester. Wow that was great! I wish I had more chances to travel for real. Since early 2008, I've been staying in Monterey CA. So now I try to see a lot of it through news and blog sites like BBC. I like talking, to know what makes people tick, how they think, see what they do, and help them out with the many little things in life that really matter. I love music & cultural events and anything involving those, so the hair on my neck stands up when I hear about an upcoming festival! I will always remember the 2 awesome hours of fun at a Mexican Fiesta in Osaka Japan. I support diversity of all kinds. Let's have love and joy together yeah.

A startling way that I chose to open up and say "aah" about the world was to enter the U.S. Army for Linguistics, but not for deliberate fighting or infantry. Another cool thing, my military base is open to everyone to come in and hang out but sorry civilians cannot stay on base for free (ask me by message).

PHILOSOPHY

Freedom is not free, and it's the most valued commodity in the world. There is no need for everything to be controlled. Let's keep life simple and let things be "free".
State your mind with your brain or your body; don't go around the point; always be real and don't forget to be a little polite.
Have a sense of direction, even if you don't know how to go or if you muck it up someway, just make up a direction and keep going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this time, I don't have a legit couch to offer. So I can at least offer my place to hang out for drinks and chatting and to be a tour guide of my local town, the current location that I'm traveling (especially Asia) or anywhere you wanna go go go with me ~. Goto CS meetings and events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up around a somewhat conservative atmosphere and a relatively small town around Tulsa in USA. I believe the greatest thing I have done was to goto college (including study-abroad in Japan) and learn about other people, cultures, histories and societies (etc) beyond my city's and state's border. Also, I hope to do amazing things for the service of the USA and the world in the US Army with Linguistics as my job. Now all of that is a bit uncommon for people in my city and university. Hence, I "grew out of my little Tulsa shell" and am much happier for it.
The greatest thing I have seen is for parents and friends to truly appreciate and accept me for who I am without judging if I am an "American" person or not.
