About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Having fun

ABOUT ME

I'm a former Navy Commander who served as a jet navigator for 21 years. 53 years old (although most people are surprised to hear that) and never married.

I'm also an FAA-rated commercial airplane pilot and airplane flight instructor. My current "job" (or as close as I get to job these days) is attending the flight training program at the Community College of Baltimore County in pursuitof my helicopter pilot rating. I'm also a recreational sailor. I own a home on a residential airpark in Lusby, MD (zip code 20657, in case you want to look it up) and keep my airplane in a hangar that's built into my house. I also maintain a "crash-pad" on the outskirts of Baltimore so that I have a place to stay when I'm flying helicopters.

PHILOSOPHY

Live large, die broke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfers are always welcome at my home in Southern Maryland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Minimal. I hosted more than I've surfed. However, I have encountered numerous Couchsurfers at the homes of friends, and they have universally been good folks.
