Overview
About Me
I was born in a small town in Hungary then I moved to and lived in Budapest (Hungary), Hasselt (Belgium), Lima (Peru), Jo'burg (South Africa) and now Madrid (Spain). Currently I am living in Madrid, enjoying life, working and all that stuff.
I love almost all kinds of sports especially running, Formula 1, cycling and football!
I love travelling around the world and getting to know new countries and cultures, it's fun! I like spending time in the nature and my dream is to take a couple of years off to travel around the globe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am participating as a surfer and host, I would like to meet new people and share a unique experience showing around in Madrid and getting to know one another's culture
I surfed first when I travelled to Brazil and everybody was so helpful!! Nowadays I am hosting travellers from all over the world when I am free
I also participate actively in the CS community of Madrid, going to Friday's hangouts to meet up travellers and locals alike
At last, I am on CS for 7 years now and sadly I feel that it is losing its spirit with lot of people just sending one line requests looking for a free place to stay without caring much about the CS experience. Also in the events section you find more and more commercially driven meetups... Are there any real CSers left out there???

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I do not consider them as being amazing, but some of the most memorable moments of my life:
- When I was living in Lima I used to build houses for the poor in shantytowns
- I hiked a 5100m mountain covered with glaciers wearing sneakers and jeans as I was not aware of the exact plan when we started walking :)
- I completed the marathon twice: Siofok (Hungary, 2008, 4h30m) and Madrid (Spain, 2014, 3h38m). I would love to do a sub-3h30m marathon sometime soon
Most importantly, I am an easygoing, healthy and positive person, at the end nothing else matters. You need to cherish every moment of your life
