About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoying my life as it is !

ABOUT ME

I've led a nomadic existence for 6 years, and I love this life !
After 14 months in West Africa, 11 months in Ireland, 9,5 months in Australia, 8 months in Mauritania, 3 months in Barcelona, and 9 months in Malta, I staied 2 years in Burundi, and I'm ready to go to Yaoundé.

If I want to live abroad, it is not to do a marathon of tourist places, but to meet others. Accepting differences of mentality is so enriching !

I need to meet people, to chat, and try to understand them, so I hope to meet you in a pub or on the beach to speak about life.

My solo trips to meet other cultures have been teaching me so much, I can not stop this experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love sharing my movies and my books. I have always a book open on my night table. In my luggage you can find:

Movie : Persepolis de Marjane Satrapi,
Book : Les Nourritures Terrestres d'A. Gides

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Walked from Chinguetti to a small oasis in the Sahara desert. Feeling alone in the middle of Sahara dunes, unforgettable sensation !

- Traveled alone in West Africa, I met incredible people !

- Paraglided in clouds.

- Learnt to drive a truck in Ireland and passed the licence in Alice Springs.

- Snorkelled alone on the Great Barrier Ref, I was in the world of Nemo !

- Going back to university when I was 42 years old !

- Crossing Kampala on a boda-boda, try you will understand !

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach biochemistry, biology, nutrition, hygiene, French as a foreign language and more !

And I know I can learn something from everybody.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I moved to Yaoundé in September 2017, I just don't have the time to discover this city.
I spend my life working, no free time to share with anybody.
Still, there is a tiny bedroom with one single bed at my place. If you really are self reliant, you can still find a bed for maximum 3 nights here.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Benin, Mali, Morocco, Portugal, Rwanda, Senegal, Spain, Switzerland, Togo, Turkey, Uganda

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Burundi, Côte d'Ivoire, France, Ireland, Malta, Mauritania
