About Me

Born French, European at heart and now based in South-West England (Stroud), I have been living semi-nomadically for the past ten years, establishing homes and strong friendships in Berlin, Copenhagen and Montreal. I am also often on the road, either for work or adventures...

For example last year, I embarked on an exciting journey to deepen my understanding of resistance and resilience. I traveled through Canada from East to West and in Brasil during the time of the national elections, with the intention to connect with lands, waterways and peoples impacted by the fossil fuels, logging and mining industries. I recorded sounds and stories, and I'm now producing a podcast with immersive sound journeys and experimental storytelling. The show is called ‘Circle of Voices’ (available on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/2EYkHP6ASCUCvWU2job8vE and Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/tune-intotheworld).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been using Couchsurfing on and off for a while now (at least 10 years), for solo trips or when travelling with family or friends.

I love all the different aspects of the platform: meeting new people from diverse backgrounds, discovering places through local tips, participating in events with a focus on community building and sharing.

I think Couchsurfing can generate meaningful connections and inspire various understandings of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to discover new artists and I try to be open to every kind of music! I'd say my favorites genres are dub, roots, drum n' bass, jungle, dubstep, reggae, traditional african music, electro swing, soul and funk.

I enjoy documentaries (Il était une forêt, Planet Earth), I love animation movies (like all the ones of Hayao Miazaki) and cartoons!

U.S: The Matrix, Fight Club, Shining, The Fall, Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

French movies: 99 Francs, Le bruit des glaçons, 8 Femmes, les Lascars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving above Reunion island...
Seeing the sunrise over an erupting volcano (same island!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages! I also love cooking and baking... and tasting different cuisines.

I'm always on the hunt for new knowledge. Absolutely passionate about Indigenous cultures, ancestral knowledge systems, and how to care for the multispecies (human, animal, mineral, vegetal, machine worlds) diversity on Earth.
