My parents called me Jean-François. Some people call me Jeff or J-F instead, do as you wish.

I've done quite a lot of things in my life. Most recently I was a shepherd making goatcheese for 8 months in Retournac. I'd like to go back to learn making bread and I wish to live in the countryside where I could make bread and help farmers. Hopefuly there will be musicians nearby as well...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I both hosted and surfed and I like both experiences. I have a lot of good memories of past encounters, and even some lasting friendships. Sad about the changes in Couchsurfing, moved to bewelcome to go back to the non-profit origins

life & death, the universe, rain drops, sun rays, music, musical instruments, being into the wild once in a while, finishing the construction of a yurt, farm work, anything that deals with creativity...

Music, Movies, and Books

Some music has tremendous power on me, i'm also into drawings and comic books, going to concerts or watching contemplative movies late at night every now and then, and when I find time and energy i try to find books to like too...
Other arts interest me as well but it's more difficult for me to really get into them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm always amazed when I manage to play a song nicely because how bad I was at teaching myself music...

Teach, Learn, Share

Singing and playing music together. I play the acoustic guitar & I'd like to learn to play the drums. I don't think I would be a good music teacher i have so much to learn still, but I can show you the basics.

I learned quite a bit about being a shepherd, I know the basics about making bread
I'd like to know more about all that can be useful to live/work on farms, play music...
I'm interested to learn about many stuff so I'm sure we'd have something to share. Cooking with fellow CS is always fun and interesting.
