Couchsurfing offers another way to travel and to be a tourist. I think meeting local people is essential so as to discover a place from the inside.

This kind of initiative is essential to remember how we are all alike and sometimes need shelter and somebody to talk to !

Being with people, sharing personal ungrounded theories, debating, hiking for several days with a 20 kilo backpack, being alone, risking myself, listening to music with big headphones and great bass, taking part to an international workcamp, writing, sweating, learning, being understood, playing the piano, watching again and again my favourite movies, feeling myself alive, seizing every moment !
