ABOUT ME
Hi! We are two french peoples from Lyon called Olivier, 29, and Leonore, 26, who travelled since the 1st october 2013 through Italia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Nepal, India, Australia, Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia, Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, New Zealand. In Europe, we slept in a tent and moved by hitch hiking. In Asia, cheaper prices permitted a more confortable life, but we still tried to live simply. We then spent a year travelling and working in Australia, and we came back to Asia to travel around the south est countries. After two and a half years on the road, we went back in france to see hello to our families and friends, before flying to New Zealand, where we spent a wonderful year working and travelling. Now, we are in South America. We build our journey step by step with advice of other peoples. Our finally target is to move all around the world during severals years. To introduce ourselves : Leonore work with handicapped persons, and i work with children at school, and i teach in gymnastic, after studies in biology. During holidays, we work together in Holidays camps with young peoples. We have low standards, a correct level in english, badder in spanish, and of course we speak french! We love meet and exchange with different peoples and cultures. Our way of travel is based on listening, discussion, exchange, and free discovery, with completely detachment with our old way of life.
If you want to learn more about us and the trip, you can take a look on our facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/petit.tour , or our website, un-ptitour.blogspot.com
We are waiting to meet you somewhere!
PHILOSOPHY
Everything can happen. Everything is possible. Always go to see. You can learn everything from everybody. For each problem, there is solution. If there isn't solution, there isn't problem. The other peoples are the best teachers. The best way to learn is to open eyes, ear, and mind, and forget TV, phone, car, big house (but don't forget music and good food!), because the most beautiful things are the earth and the humanity. Have a little money is important, but have too much close the spirit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We decided to try the couchsurfing, to combined the great meeting that we love, and a roof for the night. We think that hotels are expensive and above all impersonal, so not interesting for us.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We meet a lot of surfer during our trip, and all of them told us about the great experience of couch surfing. One of our funny stories : 8 pm, during the night, along the black sea cost nearest Trabzon in Turkey. It was raining, and we desperatly hitch hiked. One car stopped, and we met a great guy, who explained that he is a host for couchsurfing. Finally, he invited us to sleep at home, and saved us!
After that, in Australia, we found a great couchsurfing experience in a community at Melbourne during 2 weeks when we arrived.
Interests
We have a passion for our jobs, and all socials discipline. We think that it's possible to learn everything by everyone, and we like to applicate this feeling in our life and our job with children. I love gymnastic, sciences, books, videogames and...our trip! Leonore like cooking (she worked several time in restaurants), horseriding, skiing, motorcycles... We like all kind of music (in music we trust!). Since the beginning of our journey, we really love our life on the road : simple, without superfluous, our destitution became a mean to make the most of our discoveries and meeting, and it's great. We love run into somebody, and 1h later, drink a coffee and talk with him about everything! In our opinion, unforeseen meeting are the best way to learn a lot of things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
280km on foot around Annapurna in Nepal, from 900m to 5416m high. 3 weeks during which we slept in the tent and cooked with fire and snow water.
3 weeks in a nepali village, where we found a farm job and an amazing community.
Discovery of Turkish and Iranian peoples, who always invited us for eat and sleep (one time in a five star hotel!) in their wonderful countries.
My birthday in a Shantytown at Kathmandu. Peoples who had nothing gave us everything.
And the remain that we will tell you!
