CURRENT MISSION

Well, in an attempt to delay the real world yet again, I took a job at Oxford University for the summer. Luckily now, I have a month to travel in Europe! Now I can go all the places I wanted to but didn't get to the last time I was there!

ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old male trying to get all he can out of this life. I love to travel, and I do it whenever possible. I just finished my graduate degree in counseling and I work as a wilderness therapist in Alaska, and I love it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used Couch Surfing in both Europe and the US and had great results. I have been a host and been hosted. It is an awesome program!

Intereses

A little bit of everything. I guess I have turned into a bit of a runner, having completed the Chicago Marathon twice now. While I was in Switzerland also ran a half marathon with two of my friends in the Alps, which was awesome. I love eating (which probably explains why even though I run so much I am still not as skinny as 90% of the people I see on the path). I love drinking, pretty much anything, but especially good wine (I worked in a wine shop in Chicago on the weekends). I also love having fun and entertaining.

Movies - Star Wars (huge dork, not closeted about it at all), Dumb and Dumber, American Psycho, Army of Darkness

Music - Pearl Jam, Radiohead and really anything but my musical tastes really stalled in the mid to late 90's

Books - The Foutnainhead, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Cloud Atlas, Marley and Me, Harry Potters (all of them really, but I think 3 is the best), A Year in Provence, Star Dust, I am a huge reader, and I like pretty much everything that I read.
