about me .. hmm .. this is always the hardest part .. maybe just a few things I like:
- water .. in any form or state of aggregation
- mountains .. looking at them from a distance, going there, sitting on the very top, (ideally all of it combined)
- and consequently swimming, hiking, cycling

.. and yes, I'm a bit shy (some might say boring as a result)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling .. however, by travelling I understand not just to arrive to a destination, but the whole process from an idea of a place popping in my head through gathering basic information, packing stuff, physically actually moving (not by a plane if possible but its OK if the only other option would be a rowing boat) and staying there for as long as possible so I could get a real feeling of a place, culture, living style and PEOPLE..(in terms of "for as long as possible" it's mostly only my wish as there are some time limitations from my employer's side) ...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live with my flat mate and best friend in a 2 bedroom flat. My two kids are coming over every weekend so it is kind of busy here, but the rest of a week is fairly quiet and we can offer you the whole living room (sleeping arrangements - a couch :/ ..
Well, sometimes it is actually noisy as we're going trough a refurbishment to make this place a bit nicer, or at least up to our understanding of normal standards of living. It is a long process as we do everything ourselves when not at work (and not out with bicycles, tent or kite and our dog Milo). But if you will be in a mood you could help us with perhaps painting some graffiti or which ever way you'd like to express yourself :)
And if we all were lucky enough, we could enjoy a dinner made by our own 5-star hotel chef (can't promise that though)
