Hi! My name is Petr, now I´m 24 years old and I study history and ancient studies on the Masaryk University in Brno👨‍🎓. My biggest interests are travelling, trekking and most importantly history.

-- During my studies I also met my girlfriend Tereza who is the most important person in my life ❤️ as we travel most of the time together and we live together, You can expect to see both of us 😄 as we practically always travel together, she doesn't have her own CS profile. I swear she's really easygoing, kind a sweet person (we have some photos together here). If You wish, I can send links to her social media together with our request 😄

Why do I travel?

I want to meet locals in every country I am visiting, know something from their culture, way of life, their country's history etc. Cause country is made by it's citizens, so meeting them is the best option to know the country! So if I should say that simply: I am traveling to meet the locals and know about their countries as much as I can!

But bear in mind that, Czech post is not the fastest, so sometimes it takes more than week even inside the country... 🤷‍♂️😂 And of course I am absolutely open to spend some time together as I see CS mainly as a cultural and knowledge exchange platform. My house is not in Brno, but about 25 km out of the city. I am a busy person and I also travel quite extensively. So unfortunately I am not able to host all the time and because of that I most likely won't accept last minute request. So don't hesitate to send me a message, but please bear in mind that the chances I can host You are 50/50.

Also if You won't take your time to write me a personalized message and I will see that you haven't read my profile carefully, I reserve the right to IGNORE your message!!!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I think the best thing I´ve done was, that i had overcome my fear from unknown cultures and travelled to Western Africa with my family, when I was 17. It really opened my eyes :))

Also:

At 19 yo hitchhiked though Georgia, Abkhazia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq and Turkey all the way to Cyprus in a month and half.

Spent all my nights in Iraqi Kurdistan sleeping in a public city parks.

Got arrested by police in eastern Turkey for sleeping outside a mosque

Month and half road trip in 25 yo car through all the countries in the Balkans and spent most of the nights sleeping without a tent next to it

I can tell you my travel stories because I have many and many catchy stories to tell. I can cook for you some Czech dish, but depends on if it's possible to find the right ingredients, or I can try to cook something different anyway 🤷‍♂️😅
And I also know some card games, jokes and so on and as I wrote before, I am talkative a lot, so I will always find something to talk about 😀
