ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Petr and I'm from Czech republic. I come from south Moravian region which is well-known for its wine-making tradition. Even our family has a wine yard and wine cellar. I'm quite shy person and it gets me some time (or few shots of alcohol) to be more outgoing. But i like new people and it excites me to make new friendships :)

PHILOSOPHY

- Seeing good things in people - having no prejudices - but being careful at the same time.
- We need to fight all the stupidity of human kind. We can't never win, but it's very important to never stop fighting.

So far, so good! I was lucky enough to always meet the nicest people possible. Couchsurfing is such a wonderful thing!

Interests

My interests are
- Music - this is my main interest. I mostly listen to indie, alternative, electronic, lo-fi, experimetal,... but I also like cassical music or whatever is good. theres no need to be in particular genre. to see more, go here: http://www.last.fm/user/Murdoc_Niccals
- LOMOGRAPHY I love to shoot film, to experiment with photography a just to be happy with it (to know more go here: http://www.lomography.com/ )
- I love reading books (favorites: Hemingway, Remarque, Irving, Márquez), I'm kind of trying to be writer also, but nothing big came so far and maybe never will but I like the idea that it might.
- I like movies and various TV series (Simpsons, Futurama, Friends, Big Bang Theory, Homeland, Breaking Bad, The Knick, Bron/Broen, House of Cards, Fargo, The Wire, Narcos, Greys Anatomy, etc...)
- Food
- Summer festivals (big fan of Pohoda festival, Slovakia, also been to Primavera Sound Barcelona, Open'er Gdynia, OFF Katowice, Grape Piešťany, Colours of Ostrava)
- Travelling - thats why i'm here :)
- Hanging out with friends
- I'm not very good at sports, but i don't mind doing some just for fun :)

Teach, Learn, Share

- I can tell you about winemaking tradition and other traditions of our region as i'm an active part of them.
- I can teach you how to shoot film and how to develop it.
- I can share with you some of my favourite music, discuss books or my opinions about world.
- I can teach you about Czech repubic as much as I can.
- Also I can design you a house if you want to build one. haha :)
