About Me

Hi there! I just moved to America after living in Europe most of my life. Having also just graduated university, I'm trying to figure out what to do next. I keenly want to explore life outside of the "prescribed system", and -pardon the cheesy catchphrase- live life rather than survive it. Love over fear. I try to treat each moment as an opportunity for self discovery, and grow faith that the way will reveal itself. My passions are in ART (all of it, but especially visual), community building, sustainable lifestyle, plant and mushroom medicines, creative sciences, yoga, you get the gist, yes I'm a living stereotype ;) I also love people and their stories. Watch out, I might interview you...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling America in my car for 3 months! Having just moved back, I long to discover the different States. I am treating this as a way to acquaint myself with (and potentially find) my new home.
I also love the principles of Couchsurfing- host opens door for visitor, and along with it the space for a new relationship to blossom. What a gift. In a way, I believe such acts are pinnacle to a more communal, connected, joyful culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've painted several murals now, and I'm hoping to paint more. I painted a backdrop for a jazz-funk band where I interviewed each member on what animal they identified with, then painted them as that animal playing their instrument- it was so much fun! You can check it out on my art instagram @p.m.b.arts

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to draw/paint something. Also I can take you through some yoga moves!

I would love to learn how to play an instrument. Teach me any of your creative insights- on art, film, music, life, anything.

Let's share a meal! I love to cook. I also love to share walks. Also meditation and yoga.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook (FOR you), and am very happy to help with cleaning and keeping things tidy.
I can share/lead a yoga session, art skills, long conversations, ... if you're interested we could make art together.
I wrote a graduate thesis on crystals, so I can share the deepest secrets of crystal chemistry with you... if you're into that. I also know a thing or two about the mysteries of theoretical physics (let's chat about Schrödinger's cat and the double slit experiment).
And other than that I can share a handful of hot takes on the world!
