About Me
Hi there kind stranger :)
I'm Petra, 23 years old (but considering herself forever 21 or even forever 18:)). Originally I'm from Hungary, but I moved to the Netherlands when I was 19. Since then a lot things happened, I experienced a lot, I failed a lot but learned a lot from it, and now I am currently studying at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague to become a graphic designer. Now, my study fills up quite a lot of my time, but alongside that I am working in an espressobar which is a bit like Couchsurfing for me: I meet there new, interesting people usually coming from a different country. I also used to climb a lot, since it is a great way to keep yourself fit, but also the climbing community is quite diverse and usually passionate about traveling.
If I have to describe myself with one word, that would be 'curious'. Right now I'm on a mission trying to understand the complexity of our life, our existence, our purpose throughout my study and my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see couchsurfing as a great opportunity to really get to know to new people, who you share a passion with: traveling.
Doesn't matter whether it's about sleeping on someone's couch or just have a drink at the local Starbucks, anything can be inspirational, and I'm really looking forward to get deeply involved in the world of couch surfing and get to know to other's people life stories, dreams.
Interests
Alongside travelling, I'm a huge fan of photography. For quite a long time I really wanted to study it in a collage, but right now, I'm rather more focusing on being a graphic designer or web-designer, but would be cool tho, if I can still improve in photography alongside with graphic design.
I also love to engage myself with a good book, what should preferably be a classic one.

Teach, Learn, Share
Though it's not so interesting, I can always share the amazing and super hard Hungarian language with you. Besides that, if I ever will be excellent in dutch, I can also teach you some useful things.
If I ever be couch-surf on your couch, for sure you can count on me with cooking. Rumors has it, that I'm an excellent chef ;)
