I am a university student and during the holidays, or any time off that occurs to me during the semester, I would like to use the time in some meaningful way. And how better than traveling, getting to know new cultures and new people?!

Although I like to laze on a beach somewhere by the sea, the mountains have also won my heart. I love hikes - even if they don't have the most ideal terrain. But that's also a real experience, isn't it? Plus, the view when you finally climb it is definitely worth it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My initial intention was to find some suitable accommodation where I could stay while I get to know the new country/city. Well, when I thought about it like that, I said to myself that it would be a shame not to get to know the people there. After all, the locals can advise on interesting places in the vicinity; they can recommend what I should definitely not miss during my stay and, last but not least, it can also be a great way to find new friends!
