Hello!

My name is Petra and I am a Czech student currently on a study exchange in the USA. This is my first time in the USA (hopefully not a last) and I plan to experience as much of the USA as possible. I have already seen some places such as Chicago, Atlanta or Mt. Rushmore and after the fall semestr I am gonna travel even more.

I have always enjoyed meeting new people, getting to know new cultures and travelling. Back at the Czech Republic I live in a small city, have an adorable dog and a devil cat.

Since high school I have had experience with meeting foreigners. At high school I have hosted at home a University students from Malaysia, Indonesia and China who participated in AIESEC project Edison. During University studies I was a buddy for incoming exchange students.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a student my budget is tight and Couchsurfing is a great combination of getting the real US experience by meeting with locals and getting to know new places.
