CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I'm totally crazy. I mean, in a good way. :D
PHILOSOPHY
He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love discovering other cultures from all over the world. I don't like doing touristy things when I travel: I want to see the real lives of people, so I appreciate if you have time for"bringing me into" the real life of your city :)
Furthermore, as I study Art history when I travel I have the "moral duty" to see all the museums I'm interested in :)
Interests
Art in every form: visual arts, Cinema, theatre, and interculturality. I'm a volunteer in different associations that work in the fields cultural heritage (FAI) and interculturality (AEGEE), and I also used to volunteer in the field of environment (Legambiente). I can't stop doing volunteering.
I also love acting, I've done some theatrical shows during the last years: it's fun and it also makes me feel powerful. :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
I listen to all kinds of music, I'm not an expert, but I'm always curious. In this period I like Imagine dragons, Animal Collective and Die Antwoord and many others. Yes, I listen to EVERY GENRE.
Movies:
I like cinema. I love David Lynch (Mulholland drive is my favourite), but also Christopher Nolan (Inception), Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick, Sorrentino and other italian directors. But I also like a comedy with Jim Carrey, or movies like The hangover :D
Series:
Breaking Bad is The Serie. Nothing to add.
Books:
I love french litterature, especially the poems of Baudelaire. Anyway, if I have to tell a romance, it would be "Perfum" by Patrick Süskind, but also "Norwegian wood" by Murakami. I wish I had more time for reading :(
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely, my two volunteer workcamps in France. Sleeping in a tent for three weeks (the last one under the rain in one case), working every day, was kinda challenging, but I was with the best company ever, a group of people from different countries and continents. Even in the middle of nowhere we could have a lot of fun just playing drinking games and sharing our cultures.
After these two experiences, I think I have the spirit to sleep on a couch as well :D
Teach, Learn, Share
Definitely my love for art, a particulare sense of humour, some hilarious stories that happened to me and my language, italian, if you want to try to learn some words or improve it. I really like to talk about languages and try to explain mine, and also learning other languages or typical sentences!:D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would also share sightseeing, visiting museums, simply walking, sharing a meal: I'm ITALIAN, so I CAN cook very well. No, I was joking, unfortunately I'm not a Masterchef, but I can try to cook something italian :D
