About Me

I consider myself as an open minded person as well as an unbeliavable dreamer. I have almost always a smile on my face and try to keep an optimistic view of the world (even if shit happens and it really does sometimes). On the other hand I'm respectful to different opinions and I like to discuss the opposites in our views (but only in a friendly way, no fighting :))

I'm a radiology resident so X-rays, ultrasound and other imaging methods are my playground. I enjoy being radiologist because my work is not monotonous. There are always new challenges ahead and the research part of my work offers me chances to travel and share experience with colleagues around the world.

I enjoy meeting new people, explore new places and share traveling stories and experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was couchsurfing few years ago, then I switched to airbnb for some time but one of my friends reminded me how amazing the couchsurfing community is so I expanded my CS experience while I was traveling around California last summer and it was simply amazing thanks to people I met through CS.

Since I moved to a place were no more "but" exists I started to host as well. I really enjoy hosting because it gives me a chance to feel like a traveler in my own city. I like to take my guests to interesting places in Brno and share with them different views of my city.

I'm quite busy these days, so together with doing my night shifts at hospital there's not so many days when I'm able to host unfortunately, but if I can make it, my place is open to welcome couchsurfers.

Interests

I'm up to anything outdoors (hiking, snowboarding, surfing, cycling...) Running and hot yoga became the part of my lifestyle not only becuase it's a perfect mental therapy after long days at work.
I love music and I can't imagine summer without going to a music festival cause it combines many things I enjoy and appreciate.

However, it would be better to have a coffee or a glass of wine and talk about my interests :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to almost any music except death metal, I never understand that kind of sound, sorry :) My taste in music starts with Lykke Li, goes through Tame Impala, Black Keys or MGMT to Moderat, Klangkarussel and Caribou. But this is only begining of the list of my fav musicians.

I'm reading Shantaram at the moment and I'm amazed by this book. I was also caughed by Atlas Shrugged.

I love films by Tarantino, Coen brothers etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I opened my mind and accepted who I'm (almost, I'm still in a process of finding myself) and what I want.
One amazing experience from my travels was sleeping at the monastery with group of friends while we were traveling in Serbia.
And definitely my road trip around California on my own was priceless experience and some new challenges are coming (like my trip to Nepal this autumn:) )

What I Can Share with Hosts

All my travel stories, positive energy and free spirit:)

It would be my pleasure to cook a dinner or full Czenglish (Czech/English) breakfast for my host.
