Interests

People with personality, extended family, friends. Theater, music, opera. Running, running, running. Watching Italian TV. Well, these are the things I enjoy doing, but in reality work and study often crowd out everything else.

The things I do NOT like include animals, extreme sports, cooking, places with loud music, drunk people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most unusual experience has been falling through the ice while skating on a lake, but it hardly counts as an "amazing" accomplishment. The place that left me completely awestruck was Rome.

In my experience, one's most fantastic travel experiences have nothing to do with how famous the place is, how far it is from your home, or how much you spent on your vacation. Unique memories are created when a unique constellation of the right place, the right weather, the right time in your life and the right travel companions occurs. An expensive exotic holiday and a 3-day bicycle tour near where you live can be equally memorable, given the right circumstances.
