ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! My name is Maria, I'm 21. I study Romance languages at Moscow State University and saxophone&improvisation at Moscow College of Improvised Music. I adore music and play a few instruments, would be glad to teach you or to learn some new instrument from you! And I can also talk about music for hours :)
I'm a huge fan of cooking and my greatest ambition is to open a restaurant of my own one day.
And I love travelling, visiting new places and new people - I believe my trips are the best experience of my whole life :)

is the most important part of my life. I love:
jazz (especially free-jazz), blues, funk, soul, bossa nova, MPB, tropicalia, tango, gypsy and balkan brass, klezmer, freak-folk, americana, goa trance, avant-garde and classical music

are my second great passion. My all-time favourites are Modern times by Charlie Chaplin and La strada by Federico Fellini.

Books
I don't particularly like fiction. Still, I highly admire russian futurist poetry (Mayakovsky, Kruchenykh, Khlebnikov, Burliuk). Also, some of my favourite authors are Dovlatov, Chekhov, Nietzsche, Camus, Sartre, Remarque and Beigbeder.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- met a real magician from Brazil in Vienna
- been to the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building
- seen Revolution in Rome
- managed to find the needed streets in an unknown city using my extrasensory skills etc.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you languages (coz this is actually how I make money here in Russia lol) and playing saxophone, flute, trumpet, guitar and a liiitle bit of piano. Oh, and also cooking a few traditional russian dishes (or not so Russian since I love cooking).
I love listening to people's stories about their travel experience and will be glad to tell you mine :)
