I am a former athlete for Ontario/ Canada in powerlifting, 100 m sprints and shot put due to injuries I am now retired.

Worked in daycare for many years. PSW currently working with dementia clients in community and volunteering at day program.

I am a very friendly,outgoing, fun ,low maintenance, independent gal. I have no problems starting up a conversation with strangers even though I get looked at funny. I am very open about my opinions yet I have respect for others and what they think. Have great sense of humor yet sarcastic at times, I try to make people smile and stay positive.

love watching Ufc,boxing,Reggaeton music going to Caribbean and meeting up with other csers for the day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting people you get to learn about different cultures and life around the world not to mention everyone has a story whether it be good or bad. I also host students during the school year at queens and or local college.

The thing I love the most is meeting up with other csers and hanging out for the day.I now have friends who we visit in Nassau, Freeport, Montego Bay, Orlando,Toronto. Collingwood. You will see them in my pics.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only been hosted a couple times and was a great experience.
I do hope others will give me a chance with my upcoming travel plans and host me in the future so I can experience what my guests have had.

I like watching sports especially the local university games live and supporting my city teams, hanging at the waterfront, amusements, parks,water parks,concerts,festivals,sitting on patio,socializing, volunteering,comedy,parties,day trips. Traveling to hot places to get away from the cold Canadian winters.

Unfortunately there is not just one thing.

I have overcome abuse in many forms throughout my life and it has made me a much stronger person if anyone years ago would have said that I was going to be a medalist for Canada and have my home I would of told them they were nuts.Here I am.
Won the Canadian gold medal for women's T13 class powerlifting in 2006, Ontario silver medalist 2013 in the 100 metre for track and field T13 Class. 2015 gold and a bronze for Canada at intl meet.
Was on Gail Vaz Oxlade radio show in Toronto March 2013 to advise people how to get out of debt.
Swam with manatees, sea lions and dolphins.
Went to the blue hole with my cser friend in Ochos Rios and list goes on.
