About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carpe Diem

PHILOSOPHY

mmmh... I don't know and it just took me soo long to think about it... maybe something like don't waste your time on insignificant, boring, negative things but enjoy life... or open your eyes and appreciate everything that is around you...???

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I started my trip from alaska back to switzerland, I hadn't any CS experience and thought about it as a cheap way to travel around. now, many nights (and days) spent on other people's couch I see it a bit different: it's an amazing way to meet local people and make new friends...it really adds to my trip and I think, having met all these great CSurfers and spent time with them was one of the best thing that happens during this trip . so far, the experience has only been positive

Interests

Hiking, Mountaineering, Kayaking, skiing...in fact almost all outdoor activities !

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music but especially Jazz, Funk, World music... it depends of the situation, location, my mood and the people to share the music with.

One of my favourite writer is the polnish journalist Rychard Kapuzsinsky. I love to read about world history or things that are going on at the moment, but I also like to read fiction (f.ex la mecanique du coeur!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't like ratings and wouldn't be able to list only one...

Teach, Learn, Share

I like meeting people who are enjoying life, especially those who are very creative. they can be a great source of inspiration, and I love being inspired. (since I started travelling three months ago, I started a list with things I want to do when I'm back home (little balcony garden, ceramics, ...); things I came up with by talking and meeting other people...the list grows longer every day)

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Cuba, Iceland, Iraq, Japan, Morocco, Russian Federation, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bolivia, Spain, Switzerland, United States
