Overview
About Me
I work as a Substitute teacher for the New York Public School system. Occasionally, I work during the weekends and provide museum tours. When I am not working with children, I am usually home hanging out with friends and roommates. I live in a neighborhood that has a very lively atmosphere. There are a lot of pubs and outdoor spaces. During the summer months, there is free music by the Boulevard. When I am not hanging out with roommates or friends, I enjoy reading a good book, listening to music, cooking or getting lost with a movie or TV series.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel and I also like to meet new people. I am open to new experiences.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types music. Right now, I can stop listening to EL ALFALFA JEFE LLEGO EL MORENO and other songs by him. I work in a lot of high schools and listen to a lot of hip hop. Hip hop is loved by my roommates so I listen to it frequently and it has grown on me. As for other music, tribal, Coldplay, Opera. .........
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one? If you know me, I will share.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share free or lost cost experiences in New York City. For example, places to see and where to go to listen to music and hang out. I am also very familiar with some of the museums in the City and would be open to giving you a tour. Additionally, I like to show people who travel to New York City, the real New York City. This means, I try to avoid tourist areas such as Times Square and the Statue of Liberty. I like to show people what New York is really like for people who live here.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am friendly and genuinely enjoy meeting new people. I am very familiar with New York City and can offer places to see and things to do in the city that are free or of low cost. Overall, Sunnyside, Queens is just a really fun place to be.
