Im 23, from the States, and Im passionate about food, music, literature, and spending time outdoors. I love to scuba dive, I have an impending goal to run a marathon, and a strong desire to become fluent in Spanish. I am currently a chef, and have also worked as a yoga instructor and rockclimbing/outdoors guide.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am still bewildered by how many generous people out there are willing to open their homes to me. I think CS is unique in that it enables you to experience community and connection with people from all over the world. Im so excited for when I have a place of my own to reciprocate all the generosity Ive been given.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life! I love to go to festivals, and can play the piano and guitar. I love electronic music, but am interested in other genres as well. Also love hearing new music from other people.
I'm always reading and love a good book recommendation. Some favorites are Murakami, Knaussgaurd, Watts, and Hemmingway. I also enjoy nonfiction if its something Im interested in learning about.
I love documentaries, especially about food, nature and conspiracies. Also Wes Anderson and Ghibli

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought a motorbike and made my way from south to north Vietnam on my own for 6 weeks, which is one of the most physically and mentally challenging achievements I've made thus far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Im a chef and a yoga instructor, and love doing both because it enables me to share with others. I can offer stories from the road, and can muster up a pretty good dinner if you wish. I am also able to clean and help around the house to show my gratitude.
