CURRENT MISSION

I was told once that to truly give the most back to society you should do what you love. Because only then will you truly give it your all. So, these days, I'm trying to find exactly what I love.

ABOUT ME

I love to explore the outdoors. It is a passion of mine that has turned into a biology major (with a focus on evolutionary process). I speak my mind and expect others to do the same. Conversation gets you the farthest if it is not hindered by etiquette but rather gently guided by an internal desire to be polite. I love to rock climb and ski.

PHILOSOPHY

Ever time I re-read this section I find myself less than satisfied. So I'm going to say TBD. I hope to be proud of what I accomplish but have trouble finding pride in becoming a member of our current, ravenous, capitalistic system. Human's are the in situ stewards of this earth, we need to buck up, use our intelligence to find happiness and sustainability!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a few times but these days I am mostly a host. I live in a basement apartment in downtown Bozeman. We only have one couch, but plenty of floor space. Stop by to enjoy the vibes, maybe some of my roommates homemade beer and/or a game of chess or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in CO and LA, both were really unique positive expereinces, I would love to give back. I hosted a half dozen times in CO. I just moved to MT and am excited to see the travelers here!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise from the top of a mountain. A lion-fish floating in the current, with the sun slanting through its fins, on Christmas Day. A ruby-throated humming bird, inches from my face, checking my out one spring in Death Valley, CA.

I make a mean pie. If timing works my roomate and I backcountry ski and ice climb, we really don't mind taking others.
